friday finds.

vintage lighting fixture over marble dining table with pale pink chairs. / sfgirlbybay

it’s been a crazy, but very fulfilling and productive week! i’ve launched a new furniture collection with the inside, and i’ve added a ton of new vintage treasures to the super marché shop. as i get older, and often wonder about the future of blogging (is anybody reading!?) i feel fortunate and very excited to be heading my career in some different directions, albeit ones that align with sfgirlbybay and my passions — furniture design, interiors and my love of vintage. i think this week’s friday finds is landing me in that sweet spot, too. i hope you guys like all that is new around here, and if you have any suggestions for me, do tell!

xo, victoria

  1. this lovely home does not look like it once housed an italian shoe factory! not even close. i love the vintage lighting fixture and all the pretty pastel elements.
  2. for some inexplicable reason, this oversized white pear makes me very happy. i don’t know much about it, other than it’s whimsical and utterly delightful. that Italian mirror is just my jam, too!
  3. it’s blossom season, at least here on the west coast and that couldn’t make me happier. photographer nicole franzen, who we featured yesterday captured these beauties. i wish they’d bloom all year long.
  4. i quite like this charming bedroom vignette and vintage dresser, not to mention that pretty pink lamp and sweet bedspread! it all just feels so cozy together.
  5. speaking of lamps, i’ve been seeing a return of these sweet mushroom-shaped lamps of late. this one, the Flowerpot lamp by Verner Panton is an iconic Danish design piece — simply timeless. it’s 50 years old and still looking bright and beautiful.
  6. this is a very eclectic and layered looking bedroom — just the look i was hoping to create with my collaboration with the inside — a layered, mismatched look that you can make uniquely you.
  7. i’m really enamored with CB2’s new cypher black marble dining table — so daring, so sophisticated! i’d love to see it get really funky with a mix of mismatched vintage dining chairs. oh la la.
  8. i’m probably never going to get over this shelving curation by interior design guru leanne ford (and also photographed by nicole franzen). i seriously study it to see just what exactly it is i love about it so much, and i think it’s just so cohesive, even though one might say cluttered. it’s just vintage clutter put together perfectly!
