Defense Minister, Khurram Dastagir has been given additional charge of Foreign Minister, said sources.
According to the details, Defense Minister, Khurram Dastagir has been handed over the charge of Foreign Minister. The seat was vacant after disqualification of Khawaja Asif by Islamabad High Court in Iqama case on April 26.
The written judgement from the court stated “We declare that the Respondent [Asif] was not qualified to contest the General Election of 2013 from NA-110 as he did not fulfill the conditions described under Article 62(1)(f) of the Constitution, read with section 99(1)(f) of the Act of 1976.”
