ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed shah Tuesday said the PTI has already shared its proposed names for caretaker prime minister with the media, therefore, no consultation is required with it.The opposition leader said the PPP believes in dialogue and always keeps open the door for talks with all political forces including ex-prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.“The politicians never go to the battlefield and always sit on the dialogue table to sort out the issue through talks,” he said while talking to media persons at his chamber. The opposition leader said there was no last word in the politics and even no foe or friend as if anyone is foe today may be friend other day. “I believe in the supremacy of the Parliament,” he said. “In the past, there was time when we were also pushed to dead end but there was no dead end in the politics,” he said. Khursheed said Nawaz Sharif should not speak against the institutions. “General Ziaul Haq hanged our leader in the jail and even Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, but we never spoke against the state intuitions,” he said.He also requested the state institutions and the judiciary that they should also realise that the powers of the executive only lie with the executive and they could not use it. Khursheed Shah said the prime minister and opposition leader have the right to make decision about the caretaker setup, but still he thinks that all stakeholders should be taken on board in the politics.
