MULTAN: Civil Defence Department Tuesday launched a crackdown against illegal oil agencies which were selling petrol and diesel without adopting prescribed safety measures. A team led by Civil Defence Officer Fatima Bibi on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chattha sealed four illegal oil agencies and confiscated paraphernalia. Fatima said that illegal sale of petrol and LPG would not be allowed in any way, adding that the action would be taken against sellers under the terrorism act.”
