At least eight people lost their lives and some 20 others were injured in a deadly traffic accident in Balochistan's Chaghi district.
The traffic accident took place in Laghap area, 12 kilometres away from Dalbandin. Giving details of the incident, Levies officials said a Taftan bound passenger bus from Quetta collided with a trailer coming from the opposite side.
Subsequently, four people died on the spot, whereas, another four succumbed to their injuries on their way to a local hospital. Local tribesmen and Levies personnel reached the spot and shifted the injured, including women and children, to Dalbandin hospital for medical treatment. An emergency was imposed in Dalbandin hospital.
The seriously injured patients have been shifted to Quetta for further treatment.
